    What we’re looking for

     

    The Collections Strategy and Analytics Manager is responsible for development of collections strategy and management of all reporting for both pre- and post- charge off receivables. This position is also responsible for operational performance of the collections function and for collaborating with IT on development of tools needed to implement collection strategies.  The role will work closely with the Collections Process Manager, Director of Risk Reporting, and third party vendors to deliver and execute collection strategies.

    Responsibilities

    A day in the life…

    • The Collections Strategy and Analytics Manager reports to the Director of Collection.
    • Lead the development and implementation of strategy for all stages of the collection process
    • Manage collections reporting and analysis for portfolio performance and operational performance
    • Maintain relationship with outsourcing partner; monitor and ensure adherence to collections strategy
    • Manage team (both internal and at vendors) that provide support for reporting, analysis, and strategy implementation for the collections department.
    • Coordinate collections strategy with customer care, fraud, and marketing strategies
    • Design, build, and maintain risk control framework to track collections strategy performance
    • Ensure that all compliance and legal requirements are met within the collections strategy

     

    Qualifications

    You’ll own this if you have…

    • 3-5 years of Consumer Finance and/or Credit Card Collections and Recovery Experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally present information and respond to questions
    • Demonstrates organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with key business partners and executive leadership
    • Ability to partner with multiple business units to achieve common goal
    • International business exposure/experience is a plus

     

    We would really like you to have...

    • Bachelor's/ Master's/ Degree in Business, Finance or Statistics/Mathematics
    • 5+ Years in Banking, Consumer Finance and/or Credit Card Industry, Collections, or Related Field
    • Third Party Oversight/Risk Management
    • Knowledge of Evolve and FDR Collections System, Tableau Software
    • Familiar with Analytical software and its workable knowledge, i.e. MS Excel (pivot tables), SQL and/or SAS, and/or Tableau Software
    • Strong knowledge of Consumer Finance and/or Credit Card collections policies and procedures, FDCPA, TCPA, and other collections related laws and regulation
