    What we’re looking for


    The IT Technical Analyst that will work as a member of the team designing and developing our mobile application. Other areas of focus will include integration of our online systems, development of other direct channels and optionally also core system improvements.

    Successful candidate will need to communicate with multiple levels of end users, management and with development team.  This role requires the ability to translate business requests into well informed technical designs while working both independently and in team settings. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in mobile application design, integration of online systems and API designs. The successful candidate will work with business in a fast-paced environment, providing precise yet pragmatic solutions.


    A day in the life…

    • Provide accurate translation of business objectives and needs into technical designs needed by development teams
    • Generate detailed functional requirement document for external vendors
    • Review and approve solution documents proposed by off-shore shared services team
    • Participate on regular application testing, support testing team by providing key elements / points of attention to be tested
    • Balance solutions between architectural roadmaps and immediate business needs (e. g. time to market or resource / budget constrains)
    • Gather high level and detailed information, serves as a liaison between multiple business teams, and internal/external technology resources
    • Perform data mapping for system integration via APIs and also batch files. Technically specify integration points, data elements, error handling and business rules
    • Learn new systems, processes, controls and integration points, then translate into system and process maps
    • Work with various levels of management and staff to help guide the development of reports and analytics used to manage risk and attain benchmarks
    • Identify and coordinate issues, problems, enhancements or new functionality needed
    • Travel occasionally
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Based on requests from business, the Analyst will provide:
      • Decomposition and structuring of business requests. Alignment of business requests with aligned with Enterprise Architecture guidelines
      • Implementation design reflecting implementation constraints identified at the time
      • Integration design of how functionality of various dependent systems will be orchestrated
      • List of systems and components that will be impacted by the proposed solution
      • Use cases that will be covered by the proposed solution
      • Non-functional requirements necessary to be covered in order to implement the solution


    You’ll own this if you have…

    • Bachelor's Degree (computer science preferred)
    • Minimum of 2 year of technical IT analysis in the area of online systems, preferably direct channel systems (like mobile application)
    • Ability to design online integrations between systems using industry standard API design patterns.
    • Practical knowledge of agile methodology

    We would really like you to have...

    • Experience or education in finance industry and/or financial products
    • Experience with developing mobile applications
    • Experience working on the business side of an organization -- understanding their need to solve problems more quickly that IT can develop a permanent and stable solution
