    What we’re looking for


    The Risk Analyst – Acquisitions will report to the Credit Risk Manager. The analyst will help the team develop new underwriting strategies, ensure business functionality of an entirely automated underwriting process, and evaluate the performance of past strategies. These responsibilities will optimize the performance of our consumer credit card and closed-end loan products.



    A day in the life…

    • Develops and maintains underwriting strategies for credit card approval process, including rejection criteria, credit limit assignment, and APR assignment
    • Develops and maintains underwriting strategies for closed-end loan approval process, including rejection criteria, APR assignment, and down payment requirements
    • Technically maintain underwriting strategies, writing code that will house business risk strategies, and testing the code for accuracy
    • Generating reports about operational stability of underwriting strategy
    • Work with other departments to solve cross-functional problems or design creative solutions to business development
    • Propose changes to and test our technical automated underwriting system to ensure the data-flow of applicant’s information is functional and meets all requirements


     You’ll own this if you have…

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Finance or other field requiring strong critical thinking skills
    • Experience in writing SQL and object-based programming
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Strive for professional and personal development
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Willingness to share opinions and ask questions
    • 1-2 years of professional experience

    We would really like you to have...

    • Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Finance or other field requiring strong critical thinking skills
    • Working experience in consumer risk management
    • Working knowledge of Python
    • Experience with Tableau
