    What we’re looking for:

     

    An experienced Marketing Automation Specialist who knows Salesforce Marketing Cloud like the back of their hand, but also has broad experience in other marketing automation platforms. The Marketing Automation Specialist serves as the subject matter expert in marketing automation production, execution and optimization and takes responsibility for driving implementation and optimization of marketing automations and journeys.

    Responsibilities

    A day in the life…

     

    This position would be responsible for partnering with Campaign Management, Customer Experience, Product, IT and other stakeholders to plan, scope, execute, manage and optimize cross-channel marketing automation programs and campaigns. In addition, this position will be responsible for subscriber management, list management, campaign reporting, automation monitoring, and issue resolution.

     

    Specific responsibilities may include but aren’t limited to:

    • Execute marketing automation programs using email, SMS and push channels
    • Create and manage email templates
    • Collaborate on planning, executing and reporting on A/B testing
    • Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy and validity of marketing automation programs
    • Issue troubleshooting and resolution on marketing automation production incidents
    • Partner closely with push notification vendor to execute push notification marketing programs
    • Optimize the use of marketing automation systems by studying current processes and designing improvements
    • Generate automation, journey and campaign reports and dashboards as needed
    • Design, develop and maintain data attributes in Data Designer

     

    Qualifications

    You’ll own this if you have…

    • 5+ years’ experience developing and designing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Marketing Cloud Certification and experience with other marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and HubSpot and a plus
    • Significant experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Analytics Builder, and Audience Builder
    • Dynamic email creation and knowledge of coding languages including AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Understanding of A/B testing and optimization
    • Ability to manage and optimize campaigns, automations and journeys
    • Ability to track analytics and identify opportunities to improve engagement with customers
    • Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to drive marketing campaign results a must
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new third-party platforms that integrate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud; experience with Urban Airship and Medallia a plus
