    What we’re looking for


    Compliance Manager - Compliance Monitoring reports to the Director of Compliance and assists with developing, managing and implementing HCUS’ compliance monitoring function as part of the overall Compliance Management System. The monitoring function consists of compliance testing/validation, review of consumer complaints, and assists with the vendor management process. 



    A day in the life…


    • Manage daily operations of the compliance testing program, including drafting of reports to business units on findings and regular status reports to the Director of Compliance
    • Coordinate internal compliance testing with business units
    • Analyze testing results, drafting reports, and provide recommendations for corrective action plans
    • Conduct post testing follow-up to evaluate corrective actions
    • Report findings to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk
    • Assist in the development of testing methodologies, scorecards, and testing plans
    • Assist with risk identification
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of compliance logs and reports
    • Analyze customer complaint data to identify trends that may have compliance impacts to the organization. Provide recommendations for corrective action plans
    • Conduct reviews of new and existing vendors; perform vendor oversight and monitoring
    • Creates and performs internal compliance audit/testing procedures, timelines, and reviews
    • Assists in managing examination resources to ensure a thorough assessment of all key risk areas
    • Assists with reviewing adequacy and effectiveness of control systems as they relate to the effectiveness and efficiency of operations


    You’ll own this if you have…


    • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be substituted
    • Four years’ experience within the financial services environment with strong knowledge of standard compliance concepts, laws, regulations, practices and policies associated with the industry
    • Knowledge and understanding of federally recognized examination procedures to evaluate compliance with consumer related laws and regulations
    • Experience managing testing engagements and testing reviews to include review and approval of test scripts, reporting and ability to provide credible challenge to the team; preferred
    • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
    • Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills
